Dr. Marianna Kovitch, known for her extraordinary dentistry, comes highly recommended for her caring approach to dentistry with detail and precision, certifications in Implantology and Cosmetics, and expertise in Dental Sleep Medicine. She is committed to achieving the healthiest and most beautiful smiles achieved with the least amount of discomfort possible, along with the most restful sleep attainable for her patients.
Since joining Atlanta Smiles in 2011, Dr. Kovitch has developed strong bonds with dedicated patients. Comfort and pain-free dentistry is Dr. Kovitch’s top priority for her patients, who have coined her administration of anesthesia as “the magic shot”.
In 2015, Dr. Kovitch received the prestigious honor of Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. She also holds certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry using a dual wavelength diode laser for highly specialized cosmetic and periodontal procedures.
Dr. Kovitch is passionate about treating sleep apnea and snoring using oral appliance therapy to help her patients improve their much needed sleep quality, and is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and a Diplomate in the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She is also a certified Healthy Start provider, helping children correct early signs of sleep disordered breathing.
Dr. Kovitch is an active board member of the Academy of General Dentistry since 2013 and has been a contributor to the development of dentistry excellence in Georgia. She currently holds the position of Vice President of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association and Georgia Dental Association.
Dr. Kovitch is committed to using the most up-to-date, state of the art, safest, thoroughly proven, and recognized techniques and technology to help you achieve a healthy, beautiful, and natural smile through general and cosmetic dentistry. In 2021, Dr. Kovitch completed the prestigious fellowship program with the Academy of General Dentistry. Only 6% of general dentists complete the highly respected fellow program.
Dr. Kovitch, her husband Sam, an aerospace engineer, and their two young children love traveling, cooking, dancing, and spending time with family & friends.
