Cosmodontics

Dr. Giesler feels that to be a truly excellent cosmetic dentist, she needs to be able to offer her patients all possible options, and one of these is to be able to straighten their own teeth.

Dr. Giesler has taken many hours in post graduate orthodontic training. “Cosmodontics” is a term Dr. Giesler coined to describe the process of cosmetically straightening teeth in a relatively short time. Minor tooth movement appliances (retainer-like) can be worn to straighten the anterior teeth. She uses this technique in combination with other methods.

“Many of my patients have worn braces and their front teeth have relapsed and they do not want to wear braces all over again. I place braces on the front teeth only, to achieve minor tooth movement for a short period of time.” She can reshape your teeth to even the edges to create an esthetically pleasing result.

Dr. Giesler works with several orthodontists for those patients who need full cosmetic mouth orthodontics and for those who want their braces placed on the inside of their mouth so no one will know they have braces.
